Standard Fee

Our standard fees vary for each therapist. A reduced fee may be available on request to clients with a Low Income Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card.  For specific information about our fees, please Contact Us.

Low Cost Counselling Service

Our Low Cost Counselling service is $40 per 50-minute appointment. This service is provided by our Provisional Psychologist who is working towards full psychology registration under extensive supervision. This service has been primarily designed for clients on low incomes or those who require longer-term counselling but are unable to afford this. However, no health care card or proof of income is required in order to access the service. Please note there are no Medicare or private health rebates available for low cost counselling services.

Medicare Rebates

Some of our therapists are registered Medicare providers. If you obtain a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP or are referred by your psychiatrist you may be eligible to claim back a rebate from Medicare for each session. This applies to individual counselling only, not couple counselling. Refer to the Referral Options page for more information about how to obtain a Medicare rebate.

Private Health Insurance Rebates

Some of our therapists can provide private health insurance rebates. It is best to contact your private health provider and discuss the level of cover that you have.

Payment

Payment is required at the time of your session. We accept cash, EFTPOS, and credit card.

We have facilities to process your Medicare rebates back into the bank account of your choice. This makes claiming very easy and means that you do not need to visit a Medicare office. Make sure you bring your Medicare and EFTPOS cards with you to your sessions.

Cancellation Policy

24 hours notice is required for cancelled appointments, otherwise the full session fee will apply.
